I can let the year end without taking note of a new coloring book yes, a coloring book titled Legends of the Lower East Side. It a collaboration of the artists Troy Harris, Orlando Bonilla and the unstoppable documentarian Clayton Patterson. The book features their confederates in nonconformity, artistry, community activism, and If the International Herbert Marcuse Society were to give a Great Refusal prize to honor colorful outsiders, Patterson should get it.
On Monday 2/20/17, after breakfast at our hotel, we stopped at the Wichita Kmart that like most these days is going out of business where among many other things we bought, I purchased a Caterpillar Train Set that was originally $17.99 but with the discount was just $9.00. I have a Caterpillar Train Set in I believe O Scale and I not big into Caterpillar items, but I figured I am always adding to the other various areas of my train collection, so why not Caterpillar? I may even start a Facebook page for Caterpillar Train Collectors as I have done a search as I do before I start other pages to make sure my idea would not be boringly redundant, and there doesn seem to be one currently. I update you in my next posting if I do.
Outlook A 0 0 draw in the home opener is definitely two points lost, not one point gained. I worried about is murder and violence and crime that happens to black and brown people in our communities, he said, adding that his concerns about police violence and racial profiling are best addressed through training and community policing. Going to continue to do those things, but I not going to take tools from the police department simply because we fear people will use it in a racist manner. Baraka did not deny that policing can have racial overtones.
Even in 2011, some consider a big budget action movie with a female lead to be a risky proposition. But if people won’t pay 10 bucks to see one, why is a Tomb Raider reboot in the works? A film about an iconic superheroine with awe inspiring powers is hardly a tough sell. If the script and the buzz are good enough, it’s a safe bet that people will line up.
